Choengmon Gardens is situated on the road as you leave CM village, heading towards Chaweng, on the left. The resort is set back from the main road and there is ample parking on site, under the watchful eyes of 24/7 security.
We are about 300 meters from the nearest restaurant and another hundred meters or so brings you into the comparatively sleepy village, an upmarket and exclusive area where you can go from a five-star resort into Thai village life almost without noticing. Nearby, on the same walk, we have our management office, a laundry, hairdresser, massage spa and Aroma Lifestyle Boutique-an excellent coffee shop and delicatessen, with a selection of home lifestyle products
The village has various convenience stores, with larger supermarkets being found in Chaweng and on the island ring road, maybe ten minutes away.
Choengmon coastal area, is situated on the north eastern cape, a place of secluded bays, quiet back roads and generally quiet waters, with the best beaches in Samui, being home to many resorts and with the expected range of restaurants, cocktail bars and souvenir shops.
During the day, the main activity is waterside, alongside a lovely beach where you can always find plenty of shade from the sun under the trees, dotted with a good selection of restaurants, much less frantic than Chaweng. The village comes to life at night with the opening of a wealth of restaurants and bars- family friendly bars, as some of the types of establishment you can find in Chaweng are not permitted here in upmarket Choeng Mon.
Every Wednesday there is a busy night market, full of fascinating stalls where you can find anything from food to jewellery to a variety of tech gadgets.
Close to the airport and the Big Buddha, a 10-minute drive to Chaweng, with Fishermans village a similar distance, this is one of the best locations available. Choeng Mon is renowned for its unspoiled splendor, a laid back part of the island, with the resources to calm and embrace you with natural beauty and clean, white sandy beaches, leading to the always warm waters.
